In the cleanroom ventilation there are 3 stages of filtration, first stage is pre filter for filtering large size particles, hair, far, and other large size items. The second stage is medium filter, the equipments is pocket filter or v bank filter. Normally, pocket filter is the popular one cause it`s cheap and very easily to install. The V bank filters have better performance than pocket filter, they can be used in moist environment and longer service life, but they price is considerably higher.
In order to enlarge the service life of HEPA filters, pocket filters or v bank filters should be added to remove 0.5um particles. Pocket filters have very good performance and the air flow rate is as much as V bank filters. For examples, 24*24*12 inch pocket filter air flow rate is 3600CBM per hour. Normally, the pocket filter size is 24*24*12 and efficiency is F8, customized size and efficiency is available.
